EU ObserverAlthough not legally binding, the paper supported by most of the EU countries, calls on the European Commission to follow up on its current list of EU actions and adopt a strong, EU wide LGBTIQ strategy.

The lone holdouts on this support are anti LGBTIQ countries Poland and Hungary. Their homophobia boycotts a gay rights declaration. Their veto on such a support has angered the other EU countries, who still went ahead and signed the papers.
