Why do you want to take part in MGE23
I am driven by the belief that the queer community in Europe can thrive through unity and self-awareness. In my country, many LGBTQ+ individuals feel disconnected from the global community. By participating in Mr. Gay Europe 2023, I aim to bridge this gap, instill a sense of belonging, and spread messages of hope, love, and peace.
What is the biggest LGBT challenge in Europe today
Europe faces a significant challenge of fostering connection, empathy, and emotional support within the LGBTQ+ community. Despite growing liberal attitudes, differing opinions often lead to disconnection. A sense of belonging is crucial, and by promoting unity, embracing diversity, and fostering understanding, we can overcome this challenge and create a stronger society.

Why should you become MGE23
As a representative of my generation, which witnessed the transition from chaos to democracy and peace, I bring a unique perspective. I aspire to blend the best of both worlds, using this binary perspective to benefit our LGBTQ+ community and beyond. My selection as Mr. Gay Europe 2023 would empower me to amplify our voices and advocate for progress.
What is the biggest mental health challenge in the LGBT community today
While challenges vary across countries, a prevailing issue is the struggle for connection and belonging. In an age of overwhelming social media, individuals often feel fatigued and seek solace in isolation. The LGBTQ+ community, facing acceptance hurdles and even violence, endures additional strain on mental health and self-expression.
Your idea for your national costume
For the MGE finale, I envision a national costume that celebrates Bulgaria’s rich heritage with a modern twist. Incorporating the traditional colors of Bulgaria, my design will reflect the vibrant spirit of the LGBTQ+ community. It will be a symbol of our progress, embracing inclusivity and freedom.
