
Mr Gay Europe finalist in Norwegian Eurovision finale
Kai Thomas Larsen, Mr Gay Norway and Mr Gay Europe finalist in 2008 is taking part in the national finale of Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
Kai Thomas, or Skrellex as he is known by as an artist, took part in the third semi-finale of the Norwegian finale of Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
His song “Love Again” was one of three songs that went on from the semi-finale to the national finale in the city of Trondheim 4 February.
Kai Thomas became Mr Gay Norway 2008 and took part in the European finale in Budapest, Hungary the same year.

The previous Mr Gay Norway has made a career of acting, singing and perform as the drag artist Skrellex. He has taken part in several music competitions on live TV and a couple of documentaries on drag, being gay and working as a drag artist.
In the Norwegian finale of ESC, Skrellex will be competing against eight other artists. If he should win the finale he will go on to represent Norway in the European finale of ESC in Liverpool, England later this spring.
We at the MGE family wish Skrellex good luck in the Norwegian finale, hopefully he will get the chance to travel to the European finale on 13 May.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 is the upcoming 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It is set to take place in Liverpool, United Kingdom after Ukraine, winner of the 2022 contest with the song “Stefania” by Kalush Orchestra, was unable to meet the demands of hosting the event due to security concerns caused by the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
