Sometimes art is just art, and we don’t always understand what it is we see. Other times art is so much more than a confusing piece of painting or a statue, sometimes it’s powerful enough to move us. The theme was “My Gay Family” and seeing the delegates’ arts wasn’t just a visual experience, but when they each explained the story behind their shot, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. It was a moving experience for everyone learning how each individual sees their “family”.
