Congratulations France!

T oday I am very pleased! As of 12th February the French Parliament has approved gay marriage! I am very happy that my neighbour country is about to change its laws. It is a cause for celebration for all gay and our friends who have struggled for many years to make this happen!

I want to congratulate all the French gay people who now can marry. It is important to remind everyone that we must continue to work for equality. Still there is much work to do, and many things to change, but today is a day to be happy.
