Mr Gay Europe 2013 takes place in the wonderful city of Prague 26 – 31 July this summer. Last year we celebrated “Pride & Party” in Gay Village in Rome, this year the producers have chosen “Pride & Style”.
Prague being one of the cultural capitals of Europe has a lot to offer when it comes to style; architecture, fashion and wonderful gardens. The executive producer Tomas Fryda tells us that this year’s program is almost ready, there will be among others things a sports event at a castle, a fashion show in a beautiful garden and the final will take place in the fabulous Retro Music Hall!
Since Mr Gay Europe and Mr Gay World are organized back to back this year on the European continent the delegates will leave Prague the day after the final and head for Antwerp and Belgium. This will reduce the travel to three legs instead of four, and instead of spending two weeks on the events the delegates only need to take time off from work and other duties for only one week and two weekends.
“Since Mr Gay World takes place in connection with the World Out Games that takes place in August – the month when we normally would produce Mr Gay Europe – we needed to be both creative and flexible,” the vice president of Mr Gay Europe Giulio Spatola says, “but we will do the utmost to assist and help the delegates to have an absolute blast at the biggest joint gay event that ever have taken place in Europe; Mr Gay Europe, Mr Gay World and World Out Games. I am almost sad I am not a delegate this year!”
