Don’t worry, at MGE we never ask about the delegates personal sex life apart from the fact that we sort of take it for granted that they are gay in the widest sense of the word.
This year, however, we can celebrate an MGE first; both Greece and Cyprus is taking part in the competition for the very first time!
Argyrios Stelios Christakis from Greece and Kiri Spanos fra Cyprus are representing the eastern part of South Europe.
“We are delighted that Greece and Cyprus now have joined the Mr Gay Europe family. This adds an extra leverage to the MGE 2012 in Rome,” MGE president Tore Aasheim says.
“I am also very happy that National Producer Paul Sofianos invited the present Mr Gay Europe Giulio Spatola to be a part of the national final this year. Giulio loved being a part of the event and it is also educational for the title-holder to travel and learn about the LGTB situation in other counties.
We are looking forward to welcoming Argyrios, Kiri and Paul to Rome in August.”
